Cancellation Policy

At Eco Adventures Wanaka, we understand that travel plans can change. If you’re unable to join us for your scheduled experience, we kindly ask that you let us know as soon as possible by calling us on +64 (0) 27 923 1420 or emailing explore@adventurewanaka.com.

We’ll always do our best to be flexible and fair. Our cancellation policy is as follows:

More than 24 hours' notice:
If you cancel more than 24 hours before your trip’s departure time, we’ll provide a full refund.
(Please note: if your booking was made through a third-party provider, booking fees or charges may not be refundable. In this case, we’ll refund the trip cost less any non-recoverable fees.)

Less than 24 hours' notice or no-shows:
Unfortunately, we’re unable to offer a refund if you cancel within 24 hours of departure or do not show up for your trip, as we’ve already committed resources to your adventure.

Exceptional circumstances:
We appreciate that life happens. In special situations—such as illness, Covid-19-related disruptions, or unexpected emergencies—we may offer a refund or reschedule at our discretion. Please get in touch and talk to us.

Weather and safety:
Your safety is our priority. In the case of poor weather or other safety considerations, we may need to adapt or cancel your experience.
- If we cancel the trip, you’ll receive a full refund, or we’ll work with you to reschedule.
- If third-party booking fees are non-refundable, we’ll provide a partial refund less those costs.
